Governor vows support for philanthropic efforts

Governor vows support for philanthropic efforts

Sindh Governor Mohammad Zubair on Sunday vowed to extend all possible support to a local NGO working to install a network of Reverse Osmosis (RO) water treatment plants in remote and underdeveloped areas of the country.

“The government and the public are indebted to philanthropists and charity organisations who have worked sincerely to help those who remain deprived of basic resources,” said the governor in a meeting with a delegation of the Saylani Welfare International led by Maulana Bashir Farooqi.

The governor assured the delegation members that he would extend all possible support in capacity as an individual citizen of the country. He said being able to selflessly work for the betterment of the public was a blessing and such efforts needed to be streamlined to augment their societal impact.

Zubair appreciated the organisation’s efforts and called for sustained and dedicated focus on economic empowerment of the masses through provision of education, health, clean water and access to opportunities.
